Cecily Bernstorff joined Bingmann Pflüger International in 2019. She is mainly responsible for the Middle East/ North Africa region.
Before obtaining her B.A. in Middle Eastern Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies in London, she studied one semester at Université Saint-Joséph in Beirut. She then finished her post-grad education with a Master’s of Advanced International Studies (M.A.I.S.) from the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna. During her studies, she focused on international economics and security policy.
Previously, Cecily Bernstorff worked as research fellow at a think tank in Tel Aviv, at the Munich Security Conference, and as research assistant in the faculty of International Relations at the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna. She gathered experience as conflict researcher for various global conflicts and at an international think tank in Stockholm on Middle Eastern security topics.
Cecily Bernstorff was born in London, grew up near Cologne and speaks German, English, French and Arabic.
